We love book sales held by community and senior centers to schools. Many treasures can be found there, like cookbooks for example. These book sales get books into the hands of people who need them and love them for a fraction of the cost of new books, and the organizations get to raise much-needed funds from the sales.
The majority of the books at these sales come from donations from people like you and me. We have many books waiting to be taken to a wide variety of organizations for their sales that take part throughout the year.
Donating books and buying or borrowing used books are great ways to keep books from collecting dust on shelves and going unused. Another benefit is that keeping books circulating will reduce the amount of books that need to be created.
